The Wound Care Certification (WCC) is a credential for healthcare professionals demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in skin and wound management beyond basic licensure. Offered by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO), it is open to a wide range of licensed clinicians, including nurses, physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and physician assistants. To obtain the WCC credential, candidates must meet specific eligibility requirements and pass a comprehensive exam covering wound assessment, treatment, and patient education.
Wound Healing Care Specialists is happy to be an Accredited Educator and part of the NAWCO to provide this class and make it accessible for all licensed medical professionals with an interest in growing in a changing industry.
